The "Two Way Street..." is one of our favorite places to go
anyway, and for anyone who knows how prestigious it is, being
asked to play here even once is an honor. But we've been
fortunate enough to be invited back more than a few times over
the years, and here we go again. We're tempted to invoke our
best Sally Field imitation and start saying, "You like us!
You really like us!"
And here's where we've played in the past:

25 May 1996 at Edgar's Place
(We had a real good time that night. Lots 'o people
and a couple of old friends came by too.)
1 June 1996 at Grantstreet Coffee
(Three hours of non-stop music. It wasn't a marathon,
it's just we were having such a good time with so
many old friends
who came out to sing, we forgot to
take a break!)
9 June 1996 at Little Red Schoolhouse Nature Center
Environmental Awareness Exposition
(Actually, this was cancelled due to the weather.
1996 will go down as one of the coldest and wettest
springs in memory, and we'll remember it too because
we missed playing at this, one of our al
l-time favorite
spots.)
14 June 1996 at Two Way Street Coffeehouse
(Couldn't believe how many friends and such came out
on the night Da Bulls were trying to clinch their
fourth title. They lost, but we won! If you were
there, thanx so much for coming.)

"dropping by" from there. Thanx! And a big thanx
to everyone else too.)
21 July 1996 at Woodstock Folk Festival
(What a treat for us.
We've been going to this festival
as listeners for a couple of years now, and it was a
real honor to be asked to be a part of it this year.
We had a good time playing, listening to the other
performers, and visiting with some new and old friends.)
4 August 1996 at Burning Question Coffeehouse
(August is a busy month for people anyway, so we
understand why there were so few people. But there
were smiles all around when we finished, and we're
looking forward to our second invitation.)
21 September 1996 at Karin Gardiner and Rodney Sandman's wedding ceremony
(They heard us perform at the Two Way Street
Coffeehouse 25th Anniversary bash. We didn't
know we were auditioning for t
his until about a
month before the service, but we're glad we
passed. What guests commented on mostly to us was
the old popular songs we sang as the couple were
personally ushering everyone out of the church.
And, even though we said it then, best wishes to
you, Karin and Rodney)
27 September 1996 at Gathering on Gary
(We like playing at places like this, where
everyone involved feels like an old friend by
the time the evening ends. Not to mention
being fed on some of the best sloppy joe's
we've ever eaten. And, you know, chuches
shouldn't serve turtle brownies that taste so
good, it seems like
a sin to eat them. But
we're awfully glad St. Andrew's does!)

31st Annual Arts and Crafts Festival
9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
(Wow! Great weather this year! And we had a great
time, too. Thanx, again, to Roger and the rest of

port and for inviting us
back; and to everyone who came by, especially
those that came out just to see us again. We're
really honored.)
19 October 1996 at Maple Street Chapel
Opening for Armor & Sturdevant
(Thanks to George Brown, the Maple Street Chapel
staff, Maurice Smeets, who provided the sound, and
his staff, and everyone who came. We had a good
time, and we appreciate the compliment of asking us to
be on the same program of this outstanding duo.)
5 October 1997 at Little Red Schoolhouse Nature Center
Arts and Crafts Fair. Great weather again this year!
Thanks to LRS and everyone who came by!
