The
Chicago Lighthouse Gerald A. Fishman Endowed Medical Directorship
In
recognition of his dedicated service to The Lighthouse and commitment
to supporting children and adults who are blind or visually
impaired, The Chicago Lighthouse Gerald A. Fishman Endowed Medical
Directorship was established in April 1999. Through this endowment,
The Lighthouse will be able to provide:
- Ongoing
ophthalmologic consultation on appropriate rehabilitation
plans for individuals who have recently lost vision;
- Counsel
to families with children, and adults who are experiencing
vision loss; and
- Support
for the operating costs of The Lighthouse Low Vision Clinic.
