Lt.Colonel
Callisto Bridge Officer
Liason to Commander Sheba
Served as Captain of Gold Squadron 1998-1999
"I was born on the planet Caprica.  For the longest time I had wanted to be a Colonial Warrior. Most of my relatives were in the  military and I longed for the day when I could pilot my Viper and blast Cylons into space dust.
Life was scary aboard the fleet ships once the holocaust came.  We made do with whatever we had, as did everyone.  But our dire predicament made me grow more resolute to become a Warrior.  I had to help and do my part.

My whole dream almost got derailed when my uncle, whom I was named after, was caught for murdering Flt. Sgt. Ortega a few yahrens back, but I made myself work even harder to earn the respect of my fellow recruits.  Getting promoted to Lieutenant was the greatest day of my life!

The surprises kept coming when the Battlestar Callisto came out of nowhere and told us of the fantastic tale that the Pegasus was still alive!
In order to form the Callisto's new crew, I was honored to have accepted command of the Battlestar's first fighter group: "Gold Squadron."
Now that I have moved to the bridge of the Callisto, I will keep on working for the goals that we have pledged ourselves to: finding Earth and the final victory of our people over the Cylons!

Served as Captain until his dissapearance. MIA

I suppose I was rather serious growing up. I knew from the time I was old enough to talk that I wanted to be a "Viper Piwot". I dedicated my life to it, and sometimes passed up on things my classmates would do for fun just because I wanted to study for an exam or something.

Upon completion of the Academy, I was given my Viper. In an effort to show some class and spirit, I tried to paint a predatory bird on the nose of the Viper. When the other pilots looked at the painting, they said it looked like something from the Agro Ship flying off into battle. Hence, the nickname "Skychicken".

I was born on Caprica almost 28 Yarens ago, and ever since I can remember I've wanted to become a Colonial Warrior. I wasn't sure if I was cut out for it, and during my eduacation I studied Computers and Networks at my parents insistance. I do love the technical fields, but I always longed to be a Viper pilot. As we all know after the Cylon attack we lost everything and had to flee our native home and head for the stars. I had landed a position on the Callisto which had been seperated from fleet on a deep space mission at the time of the attack.

The Cylon threat was so great and pilots in such short supply that I was recruited into the ranks of the Colonial Warriors on-board the Callisto.  I am still learning and hope to make Captain someday, but for now, though this tragic twist of fate, I am finally doing what I always wanted.

I will strive to be the best Warrior I can be, and do whatever it takes to preserve our human way of life and seek out the Lost 13th Tribe on Earth.

I was born on the water world of Aquaria where my family maintained an ichthyan farm. Upon reaching the age of 18, I attended the Colonial Warrior Academy and became a Viper pilot.

My first assignment was on the newly christened Colonial cruiser, Cydonia, with the Sixth Fleet. The fleet responded to a call for help from the Orions and was ambushed by a superior Cylon attack force and decimated.

My brother, Procyon, and I were two of only 10 survivors of this massacre. I has an almost eerie ability to walk up to people undetected which earned me the nickname of "ghost".

My earliest recollections are of war. My home world of Scorpia was destroyed when I was only 3 yarhens old. I have no memory of it at all. My aunt was a navigation officer aboard a tanker and managed to help my mother, sister, and me escape the destruction of our colony. I'd never been in space before and I was terrified. To get us to sleep,my mother would tell us stories of the heroes fighting for the Colonies and of how we were going to a place that had never heard of the Cylons.

As I grew older I can remember my mother telling us stories of the Warriors and their Vipers. Those times, in our quarters, which were really nothing more than a converted storage room, were some of the happiest memories I have from my childhood.

As it happened, I came to worship the Viper pilots and Warriors. I used to sneak down to the landing bay and watch them refuelling their ships. To me, a starstruck 11 yarhen old, they seemed larger than life.

One day a Viper Pilot saw me hiding behind some crates, watching as his Viper was being fuelled. He walked up to me, looking very stern. I was terrified, because I knew the landing bay was restricted! I was afraid he was going to report me, but instead he put his hand on my shoulder, pulling me from my hiding place, and dropped his helmet onto my head, saying "Looks like we have a new Warrior here!"

I didn't know what to say! I'm sure I looked rediculous with my mouth hanging wide open and a helmet far to large for me covering the rest of my head. Another warrior walked up at that point.. I hadn't even seen him coming, I was so awestruck! "He can't be a Viper Pilot! He's far too quiet for that!" They both laughed and went back to their ships, the first of them taking his helmet with him. I never forgot that day, or that pilot who had put his helmet on my head. His name was Lt. Kemren.

I studied hard, knowing I would need good grades to make it into the Academy, and eventually, the cockpit of a Viper. Finally I was selected for testing in a Viper. My first day in class the instructor called my name with a question. I turned and saw Lt. Kemren standing there. Immediately my mind flashed back to that day in the landing bay. My mouth was hanging open again and I couldn't even think of what the question was that he had just asked. He frowned, looking more closely at me. "I remember you.. You're the silent one from the landing bay a few years ago!" It caught me so off guard that he actually remembered me that I was again at a loss for words.

Ever since that day the name Silent has stuck with me. And here I am, Piloting Vipers and hoping that maybe, one day, I'll see another starstruck youth in the landing bay, hoping for a glimpse of a Colonial Warrior.

I come from a long line of warriors. I, like my father before me, follow in our ancestors footsteps. Being from Caprica and full blood Kobollian I'm told we make excellent leaders and Warriors. My father told me that on my 13th novayahren, he would tell me something that would change my live, but he and the rest of my brothers lost there lives in the Cylon attack. I may never know what he intended to tell me.  My mother did not know what my father was talking about, she said, she hadalways felt he had kept something from her. My mother and I were able to get to a ship and get off of Caprica. As soon as I could, I joined the military to become a Colonial Warrior.

I was born on the planet Aquaria nearly 26 yahren ago.  My father and
two older brothers were killed in the first Cylon strike.  Badly
injured, my mother carried me across the city to my Uncle Zed, the pilot
of a trading vessel, and begged him to take me with him to join the
fleet.  It is the memory of my mother's love and courage that has guided
and sustained me in the twenty yahrens since her death.

I spent most of my life on the bridge of my uncle's ship, learning to
fly and dreaming of being a Colonial Warrior, exploring the stars, and a
place called Earth.  Part of my dream finally came true when I got a
chance to join Black Squadron aboard the Callisto.  The other part is
still out there somewhere... "a shining planet called Earth!"

My parents always told me I was lucky to be alive. My conception just before they departed on
the deep space exploration vessel Odyssey Nine was supposedly impossible due to the long-term
birth control medication my mother had been administered. Then, the Odyssey Nine had already
been underway for a couple of weeks prior to her discovering her condition. By then, it was too
late for the expedition to leave them behind, which saved us all from the later destruction of our
homeworlds. Thus, this Caprican was born in space, having never had the pleasure of setting foot
 on his home world.

For over eight yahrens we traveled, journeying to an area of space with planets believed suitable
for colonization. We would stop every couple of yahrens to drop another FTL message relay
station, which allowed us to receive occasional news from home. I was educated by our
expedition’s researchers and by the crew of our ship, which was one of the best and fastest
research vessels of its day. In all there were twenty-three of us aboard the O-9, with me being the
 only child.

When we reached our first “target” planet, my mother, an archeologist, and my father, a
xeno-agronomist, began their real work. We were there for three difficult yahrens, before it was
finally concluded by the mission commander that the planet was indeed not suitable for an easy
colonization by humans. Two other planets followed in succession, each with similar results.

In my seventeenth yahren, as we traveled to our final target world before our planned journey
home, we received an FTL message that more than a yahren before, our home worlds had been
destroyed by the Cylons. The Galactica was leading survivors in our general direction. We
received a few periodic messages over the next yahren, but eventually, they stopped. We assumed
the Cylons had destroyed one of our relay buoys. After some time was spent exploring a couple
of other uninviting worlds while waiting for the fleet to “catch-up with us,” we set out to locate it.
On the journey, I continued my education, learning everything I could from piloting and navigation
to structural/ship engineering and general maintenance, from hydroponics to creative cookery.

For almost twenty yahrens, we searched the galaxy for the Galactica and the surviving fleet,
making only occasional stops to replenish supplies. Finally, as we were beginning to give up hope
of ever seeing any of our brothers and sisters, we were surprised by a flight of three Cylon Raiders
on patrol. We were able to evade them by hiding in an asteroid field for a time, but in the process
our ship suffered heavy damage and casualties. Finally, to convince them we had been destroyed,
we loaded our shuttle with fuel, and I flew it into an asteroid, escaping by lifeboat only a few
microns before it crashed and exploded. With our ship silent and powered down, the tin-heads
were duped, and we escaped with our lives, stranded in the asteroids. Luckily, a long range Viper
patrol found us only a short time later, having been attracted to our location by the explosion.
Sadly, the O-9 had to be salvaged due to the extensive damage, but the seven survivors of our
expedition joined the fleet, along with a portion of our valuable research. After a short period
mourning the loss of my parents in the asteroid collisions, I became a Colonial Warrior, joining
Black Squadron aboard the Callisto.

After all that time thinking we of the Odyssey Nine might be the only human survivors in the
galaxy, it was wonderful to find out that we were not, that others in the fleet survived. Now, I am
doing my best to help keep our people safe from the Cylon menace while we search for the lost
colony known as Earth.

I was born on the planet Caprica, in a small agro community called Umbra. At the time of the Destruction, I was 13-yahrens-old and lived with my family – parents and two brothers -- on a bovine operation. Mother and brothers had gone into Caprica City for the Peace celebrations. (I assume they perished there, because I could never find record of them in the Fleet.) I had remained with my father to help with the milking (bovines MUST be milked twice a day, or they quit producing), and we were planning to join them later. Later never happened. We were caught in the second wave that targeted the outlying areas.   Father didn’t make it . . .

A neighbor found me the next day and literally dragged me with them, to the Exodus ship – a former cattle barge. Later, thisship became one of the Fleet’s livestock ships. After several sectons, I settled in with what remained of my neighbor’s family on an old, rickety passenger ship. My "new" family. I was devastated, though. I spent several sectars just barely existing, drowning
in depression and despair.

What turned things around for me and gave me back my will to survive – and to do more! – was seeing an interview on the IFB’s program, "Warrior of the Centar." The interview with Lieutenant Starbuck. I knew of him through the Fleet stories of our heroes – Capt. Apollo, Lt. Boomer, Lt. Starbuck, and the others. They were legends among the children of the Fleet, including the teens. But I had not paid much attention – until that program. I learned that Starbuck had been born in Umbra and had lost his parents in a Cylon raid. And he had never even known his parents. I saw how he remained positive, despite everything andhow he was now devoted to defending others. Something just clicked. Well, if *he* could overcome the hardships that he had, then *I* could, too! It helped that he was – oh, so, handsome! – and visible in the rebroadcasts of Fleet triad games. He became my hero and inspiration. And like so many other teenage girls, I had a huge crush on him . . .

From that point on, I decided that I would do what I could to help the Fleet survive. I concentrated on my studies andeventually ended up working on the Livestock Ship as anagri-specialist. I also built upon a love of languages by learning Gemonese and developing a working knowledge of several other languages that still exist in the Fleet, beyond Colonial
Standard (even with languatrons, you just don’t always get a valid translation. Computers don’t always interpret the implied meanings).

And then more tragedy. An accident, due to age and faulty maintenance, caused a hull breech on our passenger ship. I lost my second family. I decided I needed a change – a complete change. So I enlisted in the Colonial Service, and volunteered to be transferred to the Callisto for my training. I have had no military experience prior to this, but I am a very determined person, when I put my mind to something.

My interests/strengths are languages/linguistics, agri-knowledge, interest in science and technology.

My parents were loving people.  They made sure that my brothers and I were
provided for each day.  My father was a Colonial Warrior in his youth and
mother was a florist until she retired.  My three brothers and I grew up
listening to the stories that father would tell about the life he had as a
Colonial Warrior before an injury forced him to retire as a Colonial Warrior.

When my brothers and I were growing up they used to pick on me for always
reading so much.  They couldn't understand why I wanted to spend so much time
reading all the time.  Sometimes they would joke and say why didn't I go into
Nursing since I was always reading so much and patching them up when they
would get into fights and didn't want mother to get upset with them for
fighting.  They finally stop joking about my reading so much when I actually
went into school to study nursing.

Mother could always tell that they had been in a fight and that I was the one
that patched them up but she didn't say anything about it.  She just got this
knowing look in her eyes and on her face when she would see my brothers not
long after I would patch them up.

When my brothers got old enough they went to the academy and became Colonial
Warriors themselves.  When they were able to get time off they would come
home to visit our parents and me since I was still living at home and
studying to become a nurse.  They were able to get time off to come to my
graduation from Nursing School.  At first my brothers lead me to believe that
they would not be able to attend my graduation, but showed up at the last
moment to be there for me.

Then two sectars (months) later everything changes.  The Cylons attacked the
colonies.  My parents were the first ones of my family to get killed.  They
were killed right in front of me.  The Cylons started coming for me next, but
my brothers came running in and distracted them long enough for me to get
away.  As I was running away from the house I heard several shots & grunts of
pain coming from my brothers.  After awhile there was complete silence.  I
started crying for now I no longer had my brothers to look after me or for me
to take care of their scrapes when they would get into fights.  The Cylons
started searching for me then.  They found my first hiding place and I
started running trying to get away again.  Some how I was able to get away
from the Cylons.

I was able to get to one of the shuttles that was leaving the planet the
night the Cylons attacked & after a few months of being onboard the Galactica
I was able to get a transfer over to the Callisto. I currently am serving in
Medical as the Head Nurse.

I was born on the planet Caprica. I was just 6 yarhens old, the night the cylons attacked. My Mother was killed as we tried to make it to the Rising Star.
As my father worked in Commerce Industry, we were afforded the crowded but more comfortable lodging in the ship. But my father was severely injured and died not long into the voyage.

One day, I was sitting by the window looking at the convoy of what was left of our people, when a Colonial Warrior walked in with a lady and spoke to her boy.
That’s the day I decided that I would strive to become a Colonial Warrior. In a way it would let me avenge my Parents death and all those that I knew that had perished at the hands of the Cylons.
Most of all it would make my parents proud.

Luckily for me I was taken in by a loving Couple. My new father applied to the Colonial Service. As soon as I was of age, I too applied. I chose to go to the Callisto Branch of the Academy.
Now as a viper pilot I am ready to defend the fleet, with my Life .
